Ο Δήμος Αραδίππου υποδέχθηκε διεθνή αντιπροσωπεία του προγράμματος Erasmus+ «European Youth Goals Go Local»
Ο Δήμος Αραδίππου είχε την ιδιαίτερη χαρά να φιλοξενήσει διεθνή αντιπροσωπεία στο πλαίσιο του ευρωπαϊκού προγράμματος Erasmus+ «European Youth Goals Go Local», το οποίο προωθεί τη συνεργασία μεταξύ δήμων και οργανώσεων νεολαίας για την ενίσχυση της συμμετοχής των νέων και την εφαρμογή των Ευρωπαϊκών Στόχων για τη Νεολαία σε τοπικό επίπεδο.
Την αντιπροσωπεία υποδέχθηκαν ο Δήμαρχος Αραδίππου κ. Χριστόδουλος Πάρτου και ο Δημοτικός Γραμματέας του Δήμου κ. Ματθαίος Αλαμπρίτης, παρουσιάζοντας τις πολιτικές, τις δράσεις και το όραμα του Δήμου για την ενεργό συμμετοχή των νέων, την ανάπτυξη της τοπικής κοινωνίας, τη συνεργασία με οργανώσεις της κοινωνίας των πολιτών και τη συμμετοχή σε ευρωπαϊκά προγράμματα.
Στη συνάντηση συμμετείχαν εκπρόσωποι οργανισμών και τοπικών αρχών από την Κύπρο, την Ελλάδα και τη Φινλανδία:

• Ελευθερία Γκιοσού, Ειδική Σύμβουλος Δημάρχου του Δήμου Κομοτηνής (Ελλάδα)
• Δήμητρα Χατζημαγιόγλου, εκπρόσωπος του Δήμου Αλεξανδρούπολης (Ελλάδα)
• Diana Batraka, Συνιδρύτρια και Project Director του οργανισμού System and G (Ελλάδα)
• Jonny Korsijärvi, εκπρόσωπος του System and G Finland (Φινλανδία)
• Jerry Ahtola, εκπρόσωπος του System and G Finland (Φινλανδία)
Η επίσκεψη αποτέλεσε μια εξαιρετική ευκαιρία ανταλλαγής εμπειριών και καλών πρακτικών, καθώς και διερεύνησης νέων προοπτικών συνεργασίας σε θέματα νεολαίας, τοπικής διακυβέρνησης και ευρωπαϊκών προγραμμάτων.
Ο Δήμος Αραδίππου συνεχίζει να επενδύει στη διεθνή συνεργασία και να στηρίζει πρωτοβουλίες που δημιουργούν περισσότερες ευκαιρίες για τους νέους και ενισχύουν τον ευρωπαϊκό προσανατολισμό της τοπικής κοινωνίας.
Aradippou Municipality Welcomed an International Delegation of the Erasmus+ Programme “European Youth Goals Go Local”
The Municipality of Aradippou had the great pleasure of hosting an international delegation as part of the European Erasmus+ programme “European Youth Goals Go Local”, which promotes cooperation between municipalities and youth organisations, aiming to strengthen youth participation and support the implementation of the European Youth Goals at local level.
The delegation was welcomed by the Mayor of Aradippou, Mr Christodoulos Partou, and the Municipal Secretary of the Municipality, Mr Matthaios Alambritis, who presented the Municipality’s policies, initiatives and vision regarding the active participation of young people, the development of the local community, cooperation with civil society organisations, and involvement in European programmes.
The meeting was attended by representatives of organisations and local authorities from Cyprus, Greece and Finland:

• Eleftheria Gkiouyou, Special Advisor to the Mayor of the Municipality of Komotini (Greece)
• Dimitra Chatzimagioglou, representative of the Municipality of Alexandroupolis (Greece)

• Jonny Korsijärvi, representative of System and G Finland (Finland)
• Jerry Ahtola, representative of System and G Finland (Finland)
The visit provided an excellent opportunity for the exchange of experiences and good practices, as well as for exploring new prospects for cooperation on issues related to youth, local governance and European programmes.
The Municipality of Aradippou continues to invest in international cooperation and support initiatives that create more opportunities for young people and strengthen the European orientation of the local community.
