Πυρά κατά των σεναρίων που θέλουν στελέχη του ΔΗΣΥ να περιλαμβάνονται στη λίστα πιθανών προσώπων για τον επικείμενο ανασχηματισμό της κυβέρνησης εξαπολύει ο αντιπρόεδρος του κόμματος και πρόεδρος του ΕΟΑΑ, Γιάννης Καρούσος. Με δημόσια παρέμβασή του, καλεί τα στελέχη της παράταξης να παραμείνουν πιστά στη θέση της αντιπολίτευσης, θέτοντας ζήτημα πολιτικής συνέπειας και ηθικής στάσης.

Ελπίζω κανένα στέλεχος του ΔΗ.ΣΥ ιδιαίτερα πρόσωπα που τιμήθηκαν από τον Συναγερμικό κόσμο με την ψήφο και την εμπιστοσύνη του, να μην επιλέξει να συμμετάσχει στην Κυβέρνηση.
Ο ΔΗ.ΣΥ. βρίσκεται στην αντιπολίτευση και δεν υπάρχει κανένας πολιτικός ή ηθικός λόγος στελέχη του να συμμετέχουν στην κυβέρνηση.
Η ιστορία θυμάται αυτούς που έμειναν πιστοί στις αξίες τους, όχι αυτούς που τις αντάλλαξαν.
Yiannis Karousos: No DISY officials in Christodoulides Government reshuffle!
The Vice President of the Democratic Rally (DISY) party and President of the EOA, Yiannis Karousos, has launched criticism against reports suggesting that DISY officials may be included among the names being considered for the upcoming government reshuffle. In a public intervention, he calls on party members to remain committed to their role in opposition, raising issues of political consistency and ethical responsibility.
Karousos’ post:
“I hope that no DISY official — particularly individuals who have been honoured by the Democratic Rally supporters with their vote and trust — will choose to participate in the Government.
DISY is in opposition, and there is no political or moral reason for its officials to take part in the government. History remembers those who remained faithful to their values, not those who traded them.”
