Το SkalaTimes συντάσσεται με τις θέσεις που διατυπώνουν πιο κάτω ο Δημοκρατικός Συναγερμός και το ΕΛΑΜ μέσα από τις ανακοινώσεις τους, αναφορικά με τη διατήρηση των πεδίων «όνομα πατρός» και «όνομα μητρός» στις πολιτικές ταυτότητες.
Παρά τις όποιες ιδεολογικές διαφορές, οι δύο πολιτικές δυνάμεις συγκλίνουν στην ανάγκη διαφύλαξης ενός στοιχείου που αποτυπώνει την οικογενειακή ταυτότητα και την ιστορική συνέχεια του πολίτη. Η διατήρηση των συγκεκριμένων αναφορών δεν αναιρεί τον εκσυγχρονισμό του κράτους, αλλά μπορεί να συνυπάρξει με τον σεβασμό στην ελεύθερη επιλογή, τη διαφάνεια και τις διαχρονικές κοινωνικές αξίες.
ΔΗΣΥ
Ο Δημοκρατικός Συναγερμός διαφωνεί με την απόφαση της Κυβέρνησης να αφαιρέσει από τις ταυτότητες τα πεδία «όνομα πατρός» και «όνομα μητρός».
Η θέση μας ήταν και είναι η ίδια: Ο κάθε πολίτης πρέπει να έχει την ελεύθερη επιλογή κατά πόσο επιθυμεί την αφαίρεση των συγκεκριμένων στοιχείων στην ταυτότητά του.
Για τον σκοπό αυτό, ο Δημοκρατικός Συναγερμός έχει ετοιμάσει σχετική Πρόταση Νόμου, η οποία θα κατατεθεί στη Βουλή των Αντιπροσώπων.
ΕΛΑΜ
Δεν πρόκειται να κάνουμε βήμα πίσω από το ζήτημα της αφαίρεσης των ονομάτων του πατέρα και της μητέρας από τις πολιτικές ταυτότητες.
Η εν λόγω απόφαση, αποτελεί άλλο ένα παραλογισμό που προσπαθεί να επιβάλει η νέα τάξη πραγμάτων στο όνομα ενός ανύπαρκτου προοδευτισμού.
Καταθέτουμε σχετική πρόταση νόμου στη Βουλή, ώστε να επαναφέρουμε τα ονόματα πατέρα και μητέρας ως υποχρεωτικά πεδία.
Ας μπει επιτέλους φρένο σε όσους χτυπούν την οικογένεια και τις αξίες μας.
Και επειδή από την ώρα που αναδείξαμε το ζήτημα κάποιοι επιλέγουν το βολικό κρυφτούλι, κάθε πολιτική παράταξη θα κριθεί πλέον από τις πράξεις της.
DISY and ELAM on Father’s and Mother’s Names on Identity Cards
SkalaTimes aligns itself with the positions expressed below by the Democratic Rally (DISY) and ELAM in their statements regarding the retention of the “father’s name” and “mother’s name” fields on national identity cards.
Despite their ideological differences, the two political forces converge on the need to preserve an element that reflects a citizen’s family identity and historical continuity. Retaining these references does not negate the modernisation of the state but can coexist with respect for freedom of choice, transparency, and enduring social values.
DISY
The Democratic Rally disagrees with the Government’s decision to remove the “father’s name” and “mother’s name” fields from identity cards.
Our position has always been and remains the same: every citizen should have the freedom to choose whether they wish to have these particular details removed from their identity card.
To this end, the Democratic Rally has prepared a relevant Bill, which will be submitted to the House of Representatives.
ELAM
We will not take a single step back on the issue of removing the names of the father and mother from national identity cards.
This decision is yet another absurdity that the new world order is attempting to impose in the name of a non-existent progressivism.
We are submitting a Bill to Parliament in order to reinstate the names of the father and mother as mandatory fields.
It is time to put a stop to those who attack the family and our values.
And because, since we brought this issue to light, some have chosen to play a convenient game of hide-and-seek, every political party will now be judged by its actions.
