Σημερινή ανάρτηση του Ανδρέα Πασιουρτίδη, ανήμερα της μαύρης επετείου της 20ης Ιουλίου:
Πολλών το βλέμμα δεν στρέφεται πλέον προς τις ακτές της Αμμοχώστου και της Κερύνειας. Πολλοί δυστυχώς είναι αυτοί που πλέον βολεύονται με λιγότερο ουρανό…
Εμείς όμως ποτέ! Ποτέ δεν πρόκειται να συμβιβαστούμε με την τουρκική κατοχή. Ούτε με τη διχοτόμηση και τα δύο κράτη.
“Τούτη η δίψα δε σβήνει, τούτη η μάχη δεν παύει, χίλια χρόνια αν περάσουν δεν πεθαίνουμε σκλάβοι!”
52 χρόνια μετά κρατάμε ψηλά τη σημαία της Κύπρου, τη σημαία του αγώνα μας, για λευτεριά και δικαίωση.

Fifty-two years later, we continue to hold the flag of Cyprus high—the flag of our struggle for freedom and justice.
