Ανακοίνωση ΔΗΣΥ για διορισμό Αντιπροσώπου ΕΕ στο κυπριακό
Ο Δημοκρατικός Συναγερμός σημειώνει ως θετική εξέλιξη τον διορισμό Ειδικού Αντιπροσώπου της Ευρωπαϊκής Επιτροπής για την Κύπρο.
Ελπίζουμε ότι η απόφαση αυτή, για διορισμό του Εκτελεστικού Αντιπροέδρου της Ευρωπαϊκής Επιτροπής, Ραφαέλε Φίτο, θα λειτουργήσει ενισχυτικά στις προσπάθειες για επίλυση του Κυπριακού.
Ο Δημοκρατικός Συναγερμός διαχρονικά υποστηρίζει την ουσιαστικότερη εμπλοκή της EE.
Παράλληλα, χαιρετίζουμε ιδιαίτερα το γεγονός ότι η Ευρωπαϊκή Επιτροπή επαναβεβαιώνει τη δέσμευσή της για επανένωση της Κύπρου στη βάση των σχετικών ψηφισμάτων του Συμβουλίου Ασφαλείας των Ηνωμένων Εθνών, καθώς και των αρχών και αξιών της ΕΕ.
Εκφράζουμε την προσδοκία ότι η ευρωπαϊκή εμπλοκή θα συμβάλει ουσιαστικά στη δημιουργία των προϋποθέσεων για επανέναρξη ουσιαστικών διαπραγματεύσεων με στόχο μια λειτουργική και βιώσιμη λύση του Κυπριακού, χωρίς κατοχικά στρατεύματα και αναχρονιστικές εγγυήσεις.

Το ΑΚΕΛ για τον διορισμό Ειδικού Εκπροσώπου της Ευρωπαϊκής Επιτροπής για το Κυπριακό
Το ΑΚΕΛ καλωσορίζει τον διορισμό Ειδικού Εκπροσώπου της Ευρωπαϊκής Επιτροπής για το Κυπριακό και εκφράζει την ελπίδα να συμβάλει στην προσπάθεια του ΟΗΕ για διάρρηξη του αδιεξόδου στο Κυπριακό προς την κατεύθυνση της επανέναρξης διαπραγματεύσεων για λύση στη συμφωνημένη βάση και πλαίσιο. Ο διορισμός Ειδικού Εκπροσώπου της Ευρωπαϊκής Επιτροπής, όπως και τις προηγούμενες φορές που είχε γίνει, στόχο έχει να συνδράμει τις προσπάθειες πάντα εντός του πλαισίου των Ηνωμένων Εθνών και αυτό έχει τη σημασία του μέσα στις σημερινές συνθήκες όπου ο Γενικός Γραμματέας του ΟΗΕ διερευνά τις δυνατότητες για σύγκληση μιας άτυπης διευρυμένης συνάντησης για το Κυπριακό.
Το ΑΚΕΛ υπογραμμίζει και με αυτή την ευκαιρία την κρίσιμη σημασία που έχει σε αυτή τη φάση του Κυπριακού να διαφυλαχθεί το σύνολο του διαπραγματευτικού κεκτημένου και το Πλαίσιο Γκουτέρες στη βάση του οποίου πρέπει να συνεχιστούν οι διαπραγματεύσεις για τα εναπομείναντα θέματα. Επαναλαμβάνει δε ότι η λύση του Κυπριακού, με τερματισμό της τουρκικής κατοχής και επανένωση της πατρίδας μας είναι ο μόνος δρόμος για ένα μέλλον ειρήνης και ασφάλειας για όλη την Κύπρο και όλους τους Κύπριους.

DISY Announcement on the Appointment of the EU Representative for the Cyprus Issue
The Democratic Rally (DISY) considers the appointment of a Special Representative of the European Commission for Cyprus as a positive development.
We hope that this decision, namely the appointment of European Commission Executive Vice-President Raffaele Fitto, will serve to strengthen efforts towards a resolution of the Cyprus issue.
The Democratic Rally has consistently supported a more substantive involvement of the European Union.
At the same time, we particularly welcome the fact that the European Commission is reaffirming its commitment to the reunification of Cyprus on the basis of the relevant United Nations Security Council resolutions, as well as the principles and values of the EU.
We express the expectation that European involvement will contribute substantially to creating the conditions for the resumption of meaningful negotiations, with the aim of achieving a functional and viable solution to the Cyprus issue, without occupying troops and outdated systems of guarantees.

AKEL on the Appointment of the European Commission’s Special Representative for the Cyprus Issue
AKEL welcomes the appointment of a Special Representative of the European Commission for the Cyprus issue and expresses the hope that it will contribute to the UN’s efforts to break the deadlock in the Cyprus negotiations, paving the way for the resumption of talks towards a solution on the agreed basis and framework.
The appointment of a Special Representative of the European Commission, as was the case on previous occasions, aims to assist these efforts while always remaining within the framework of the United Nations. This is particularly significant under the current circumstances, as the UN Secretary-General is exploring the possibilities of convening an informal expanded meeting on the Cyprus issue.
AKEL emphasises once again, on this occasion, the critical importance at this stage of the Cyprus problem of safeguarding the entirety of the negotiating acquis and the Guterres Framework, on the basis of which negotiations on the remaining issues must continue.
It reiterates that the solution of the Cyprus issue, with an end to the Turkish occupation and the reunification of our homeland, is the only path towards a future of peace and security for the whole of Cyprus and all Cypriots.
