Εβδομάδα Κλιματικής Δικαιοσύνης 2026: Από τον διάλογο στη δράση
Οι Φίλοι της Γης Κύπρου οργανώνουν την Εβδομάδα Κλιματικής Δικαιοσύνης, από τις 10 έως τις 15 Ιουνίου 2026, με μια σειρά δωρεάν δράσεων, εργαστηρίων και δημόσιων συζητήσεων.
Σε μια περίοδο κατά την οποία η δημοκρατία, το περιβάλλον, και τα δικαιώματα βρίσκονται αντιμέτωπα με νέες προκλήσεις, η συλλογική οργάνωση αποκτά ακόμη μεγαλύτερη σημασία. Η κλιματική δικαιοσύνη δεν αφορά μόνο την προστασία του περιβάλλοντος. Αφορά επίσης το ποιος έχει φωνή, ποιος επηρεάζεται περισσότερο
από την κλιματική κρίση και ποιος συμμετέχει στις αποφάσεις.
Το πρόγραμμα της εβδομάδας περιλαμβάνει συνεργαστήρια Περιβαλλοντικής Δημοκρατίας, παρουσιάσεις, συζητήσεις για την διαμόρφωση πολιτικών, Φόρουμ Κλιματικής Δικαιοσύνης, ποδηλασίες και προβολή ντοκιμαντέρ. Μέσα από τις δράσεις, οργανώσεις της κοινωνίας των πολιτών, πολίτες, νέοι, ακαδημαϊκοί, ειδικοί
και φορείς της τοπικής αυτοδιοίκησης θα έχουν την ευκαιρία να ανταλλάξουν εμπειρίες και να διαμορφώσουν προτάσεις για την περιβαλλοντική δημοκρατία, την ενεργειακή δικαιοσύνη και τη δικαιοσύνη στην κινητικότητα.

Το έργο “Expanding Democratic Space for Environmental Civil Society” υλοποιείται στο πλαίσιο του προγράμματος PLATO, με φορέα υλοποίησης το σωματείο “Φίλοι της Γης”. Το PLATO συγχρηματοδοτείται από την Ευρωπαϊκή Ένωση, μέσω του προγράμματος Citizens, Equality, Rights and Values (CERV), το Ίδρυμα Μποδοσάκη και το Κέντρο Στήριξης ΜΚΟ με συνολικό ποσό επιχορήγησης €3,1 εκ.

Climate Justice Week 2026: From Dialogue to Action
Friends of the Earth Cyprus is organizing Climate Justice Week from 10 to 15 June 2026, featuring a series of free activities, workshops, and public discussions.
At a time when democracy, the environment, and human rights are facing new challenges, collective organisation becomes even more important. Climate justice is not only about protecting the environment. It is also about who has a voice, who is most affected by the climate crisis, and who participates in decision-making processes.
The week’s programme includes Environmental Democracy workshops, presentations, policy-shaping discussions, a Climate Justice Forum, cycling activities, and documentary screenings. Through these events, civil society organisations, citizens, young people, academics, experts, and local government representatives will have the opportunity to exchange experiences and develop proposals on environmental democracy, energy justice, and mobility justice.
All activities are free of charge, with registration required.

Climate Justice Week is implemented within the framework of the project “Towards an open, fair and sustainable Europe in the world – EU Presidency Programme 2024–2026,” co-funded by the European Union and implemented by Global Focus, Grupa Zagranica, CARDET, and CONCORD, the European confederation of NGOs working on sustainable development and international cooperation.
