Ο Δήμος Κουρίου καλεί τους δημότες να συμμετάσχουν σε πορεία διαμαρτυρίας ενάντια στην τοποθέτηση κεραιών από τις Βρετανικές Βάσεις στο Δημοτικό Διαμέρισμα Ακρωτηρίου. Η πορεία θα πραγματοποιηθεί το Σάββατο 8 Αυγούστου 2026, στις 09:30 π.μ., με σημείο εκκίνησης την 1η Είσοδο του Δ.Δ. Ακρωτηρίου.
Στήριξη από φορείς και οργανωμένα σύνολα
Η πορεία διοργανώνεται με την υποστήριξη της Επιτροπής Μερρά Ακρωτηρίου, της Κίνησης «Ακρωτήρι Ώρα Μηδέν» και των Οργανωμένων Συνόλων του Δήμου Κουρίου. Ο Δήμος τονίζει ότι η παρουσία όλων αποτελεί μήνυμα ενότητας και αποφασιστικότητας για την προστασία του τόπου, του περιβάλλοντος και της ποιότητας ζωής των κατοίκων, καλώντας τους δημότες να συμμετάσχουν ειρηνικά, με ενότητα και υπευθυνότητα.
The Municipality of Kourion invites residents to participate in a protest march against the installation of antenna systems by the British Bases in the Akrotiri Municipal District. The march will take place on Saturday, 8 August 2026, at 9:30 a.m., starting from the 1st Entrance of the Akrotiri Municipal District.
Support from organisations and organised groups
The march is organised with the support of the Akrotiri Merra Committee, the “Akrotiri Zero Hour” Movement, and the organised groups of the Municipality of Kourion. The Municipality emphasises that everyone’s presence represents a message of unity and determination for the protection of the area, the environment, and the residents’ quality of life. Residents are called upon to participate peacefully, with unity and a sense of responsibility.
