Το International Youth Tournament επιστρέφει πιο δυνατό από ποτέ και φέτος μεταφέρεται στη Λάρνακα, εκεί όπου αναμένεται να συγκεντρώσει μερικές από τις κορυφαίες ακαδημίες της Ευρώπης στις ηλικιακές κατηγορίες U18 και U16.
Η διοργάνωση του Chalkanor Suns ετοιμάζεται να ανεβάσει ακόμη περισσότερο τον πήχη, επιβεβαιώνοντας για ακόμη μία φορά ότι πρωτοπορεί στην ανάπτυξη του αναπτυξιακού μπάσκετ στην Κύπρο. Η φιλοξενία ομάδων υψηλού επιπέδου από το εξωτερικό αποτελεί μια μοναδική ευκαιρία για τους νεαρούς Κύπριους αθλητές να αποκτήσουν πολύτιμες εμπειρίες απέναντι σε κορυφαίους αντιπάλους.
Σύμφωνα με πληροφορίες του Cyprus Basket, οι επίσημες ανακοινώσεις των ομάδων που θα συμμετάσχουν θα γίνουν εντός ημερών, με το ενδιαφέρον να είναι ήδη τεράστιο.
Οι πληροφορίες αναφέρουν πως ανάμεσα στις συμμετοχές αναμένεται να βρίσκονται και πρωταθλήτριες ομάδες των κατηγοριών U18 και U16 από το εξωτερικό, γεγονός που προμηνύει ένα τουρνουά ιδιαίτερα υψηλού επιπέδου.
