Νέα αντιπαράθεση προκαλεί δημόσια παρέμβαση του Οδυσσέα Μιχαηλίδη, του κόμματος ΑΛΜΑ, με αφορμή δημοσίευμα του «Πολίτη». Ο κ. Μιχαηλίδης απορρίπτει οποιαδήποτε σύνδεσή του με τη σύνταξη των επίμαχων μηνυμάτων της υπόθεσης «Σάντη» και καταγγέλλει προσπάθεια δημιουργίας λανθασμένων εντυπώσεων σε βάρος του. Παράλληλα, αναφέρεται σε μακρόχρονη αντιπαράθεση με τον δημοσιογράφο Διονύση Διονυσίου και σε εκκρεμή αγωγή δυσφήμισης, προαναγγέλλοντας ότι θα αξιοποιήσει το νέο δημοσίευμα στη δικαστική διαδικασία.

Στο σημερινό του δημοσίευμα ο Διονύσης Διονυσίου του «Πολίτη» κατάφερε, με τον τρόπο που επέλεξε να το παρουσιάσει, να συνδέσει το όνομά μου ακόμη και με την υπόθεση των μηνυμάτων της γνωστής «Σάντη». Από την προβολή του δημοσιεύματος από την εφημερίδα, ο αναγνώστης εύκολα οδηγείται στο συμπέρασμα ότι είχα ρόλο στη σύνταξη των μηνυμάτων, κάτι που ούτε το ίδιο το κείμενο αναφέρει. Η νοσηρή φαντασία του Διονυσίου και η εμμονή του μαζί μου δεν έχουν όρια.
Από το 2016, όταν, στο πλαίσιο των αρμοδιοτήτων μου, καθηκόντως διαβίβασα στις αρμόδιες Αρχές καταγγελία που τον αφορούσε, του έγινα εμμονή. Δέκα χρόνια μετά, επιβεβαιώνεται ότι «πρώτα βγαίνει η ψυχή και μετά το χούι».
Εκκρεμεί ήδη ενώπιον του Δικαστηρίου αγωγή δυσφήμισης εναντίον του για άλλο δημοσίευμά του. Το σημερινό θα προστεθεί απλώς στο υλικό της αγωγής, ως ακόμη ένα στοιχείο κακοπιστίας
Odysseas Michaelides: “Dionysiou’s morbid imagination and his obsession with me know no bounds”
A new confrontation has been sparked by a public statement from Odysseas Michaelides of the ALMA party, following a report published by Politis. Mr Michaelides rejects any connection between himself and the drafting of the controversial messages in the “Santi” case, and accuses the newspaper of attempting to create false impressions against him. He also refers to a long-standing dispute with journalist Dionysis Dionysiou and to a pending defamation lawsuit, announcing that the new publication will be added to the material submitted in the court proceedings.
The full text of Mr Odysseas Michaelides’ statement published today:
In today’s report, Dionysis Dionysiou of Politis managed, through the way he chose to present it, to link my name even to the case involving the messages of the well-known “Santi”. Through the newspaper’s presentation of the report, the reader can easily be led to the conclusion that I played a role in drafting the messages, something that is not even stated in the article itself. Dionysiou’s morbid imagination and his obsession with me know no bounds.
Ever since 2016, when, in the course of my official duties, I duly forwarded to the competent Authorities a complaint concerning him, I have become an obsession of his. Ten years later, it is confirmed that “first the soul leaves, and then the habit” — in other words, old habits die hard.
A defamation lawsuit against him over another publication of his is already pending before the Court. Today’s report will simply be added to the material in the lawsuit as yet another indication of bad faith.
