Νέο περιστατικό βίας καταγράφηκε σε σχολείο στη Λάρνακα, όταν μαθητής Γυμνασίου επιτέθηκε σε καθηγήτρια, φτάνοντας στο σημείο να χειροδικήσει εναντίον της.
Σύμφωνα με πληροφορίες του philenews φερόμενος δράστης είναι 13χρονος. Συγκεκριμένα, φέρεται να χτύπησε με τις γροθιές του την καθηγήτρια στο στομάχι, έπειτα από παρατηρήσεις που του έκανε. Η καθηγήτρια προέβη την περασμένη Τετάρτη σε καταγγελία στην Αστυνομία Λάρνακας, η οποία ξεκίνησε διερεύνηση της υπόθεσης. Η εκπαιδευτικός εξετάστηκε από γιατρούς στο νοσοκομείο Λάρνακας
Όπως μας αναφέρθηκε λόγω του γεγονότος πως ο μαθητής είναι ποινικά ανεύθυνος (δηλαδή κάτω των 14 ετών), τέθηκε σε εφαρμογή συγκεκριμένη διαδικασία που ακολουθείται σε αυτές τις περιπτώσεις.
Ο Εκπρόσωπος Τύπου της Αστυνομικής Διεύθυνσης Λάρνακας, Σπύρος Χρυσοστόμου, δήλωσε πως η υπόθεση διερευνάται σε συνεργασία με άλλες υπηρεσίες του Υπουργείου Παιδείας και των Υπηρεσιών Κοινωνικής Ευημερίας.
Όπως ανέφερε ο πρόεδρος της Συνομοσπονδία Συνδέσμων Γονέων Μέσης Εκπαίδευσης, Λοΐζος Κωνσταντίνου, η υπόθεση έχει ήδη τεθεί σε διαδικασία διαχείρισης σύμφωνα με τους προβλεπόμενους κανονισμούς. «Η διαδικασία έχει πάρει την πορεία της, θα γίνει ό,τι προβλέπεται από τους κανονισμούς. Δεν θα εξετάσουμε καν εάν είχε δίκαιο ή άδικο να αντιδράσει, αντίδραση δεν είναι να χειροδικήσεις στον οποιονδήποτε, πόσω μάλλον σε εκπαιδευτικό», δήλωσε.
Ο κ. Κωνσταντίνου μιλώντας στο ΣΙΓΜΑ πρόσθεσε ότι «φτάσαμε στο σημείο να ασκηθεί βία», σημειώνοντας πως επικοινώνησε με τον πρόεδρο της ΟΕΛΜΕΚ για να μεταφέρει τη συμπαράσταση των γονέων προς τους εκπαιδευτικούς. «Καταδικάζω οποιαδήποτε μορφή βίας. Τους εκπαιδευτικούς, όποιο παράπονο και να έχει κάποιος μαθητής ή γονέας, μπορεί να κάνει καταγγελία αλλά σε καμιά περίπτωση δεν χειροδικεί κατά του εκπαιδευτικού», ανέφερε.
Ο Πρόεδρος της Ομοσπονδίας Συνδέσμων Γονέων Μέσης και Τεχνικής Εκπαίδευσης Λάρνακας, Κώστας Κώστα, δήλωσε στο ΚΥΠΕ πως «καταδικάζουμε το γεγονός και ζητούμε την πλήρη διερεύνηση του και απόδοση ευθυνών». Σημείωσε πως «είναι ιδιαίτερα ανησυχητικό το περιστατικό γι’ αυτό θα πρέπει να λαμβάνονται όλα τα προληπτικά, και εκεί όπου χρειάζεται συγκεκριμένα μέτρα αντιμετώπισης του φαινομένου της παραβατικότητας».

New incident of violence at a school: 13-year-old student attacked a teacher at a secondary school in Larnaca – Punched her in the stomach
A new incident of violence was recorded at a school in Larnaca, when a secondary school student attacked a teacher, going so far as to physically assault her.
According to information from philenews, the alleged perpetrator is a 13-year-old student. Specifically, he is reported to have punched the teacher in the stomach following remarks she made to him. Last Wednesday, the teacher filed a complaint with the Larnaca Police, who launched an investigation into the case. The educator was examined by doctors at Larnaca General Hospital.
As we were informed, due to the fact that the student is criminally irresponsible (i.e. under the age of 14), a specific procedure that applies in such cases has been put into effect.
The Press Representative of the Larnaca Police Directorate, Spyros Chrysostomou, stated that the case is being investigated in cooperation with other services of the Ministry of Education and the Social Welfare Services.
As stated by the President of the Confederation of Parents’ Associations of Secondary Education, Loizos Konstantinou, the case has already been placed under management procedures in accordance with the prescribed regulations. “The process has taken its course; everything provided for by the regulations will be done. We will not even examine whether he was right or wrong to react — reaction does not mean physically assaulting anyone, let alone an educator,” he said.
Speaking to SIGMA, Mr Konstantinou added that “we have reached the point where violence is being exercised,” noting that he contacted the President of OELMEK to convey parents’ support to teachers. “I condemn any form of violence. As for teachers, whatever complaint a student or parent may have, they can file a report, but under no circumstances should they resort to physical violence against an educator,” he stated.
The President of the Federation of Parents’ Associations of Secondary and Technical Education of Larnaca, Kostas Costa, told CNA that “we condemn the incident and call for its full investigation and the attribution of responsibilities.” He noted that “the incident is particularly concerning, and therefore all preventive measures must be taken, and where necessary, specific measures to address the phenomenon of delinquency.”
