Σε μια ακόμη παρέμβαση που ενισχύει την εικόνα και τη λειτουργικότητα της Ορόκλινης προχώρησε ο Δήμος Λάρνακας, με την αναβάθμιση του φωτισμού στο Πάρκο Ευρώπης, στο Δημοτικό Διαμέρισμα Βορόκληνης.
Στο πλαίσιο του έργου, τα υφιστάμενα φωτιστικά που τροφοδοτούνταν από το δίκτυο της ΑΗΚ αντικαταστάθηκαν με 33 νέα φωτοβολταϊκά φωτιστικά, προσφέροντας μια πιο σύγχρονη και ενεργειακά αποδοτική λύση για τον φωτισμό του πάρκου.
Το έργο, συνολικής αξίας σχεδόν €50.000, υλοποιήθηκε από τον Δήμο Λάρνακας με συγχρηματοδότηση της Ευρωπαϊκής Ένωσης, εντάσσοντας το Πάρκο Ευρώπης σε μια ευρύτερη προσπάθεια εκσυγχρονισμού των υποδομών της περιοχής.
Η συγκεκριμένη παρέμβαση έρχεται να προστεθεί στα έργα που βρίσκονται σε εξέλιξη ή υλοποιούνται στην Ορόκλινη, συμβάλλοντας σταδιακά στη δημιουργία μιας πιο σύγχρονης, λειτουργικής και φιλικής προς τους κατοίκους και επισκέπτες περιοχής.
Με το Πάρκο Ευρώπης να αποκτά νέο φωτισμό και την αξιοποίηση της ηλιακής ενέργειας να βρίσκεται στο επίκεντρο της παρέμβασης, η Ορόκλινη συνεχίζει να αλλάζει εικόνα μέσα από έργα που βελτιώνουν την καθημερινότητα και αναβαθμίζουν τους δημόσιους χώρους της.
A New Look for Oroklini’s Europe Park – Lighting Upgraded
The Municipality of Larnaca has completed another intervention aimed at enhancing the appearance and functionality of Oroklini, with the upgrading of the lighting system at Europe Park, in the Oroklini Municipal District.
As part of the project, the existing lighting fixtures, which were powered by the Electricity Authority of Cyprus (EAC) network, were replaced with 33 new solar-powered lighting fixtures, providing a more modern and energy-efficient lighting solution for the park.
The project, with a total value of nearly €50,000, was implemented by the Municipality of Larnaca with co-financing from the European Union, placing Europe Park within a broader effort to modernise the area’s infrastructure.
The latest intervention adds to the projects currently underway or already implemented in Oroklini, gradually contributing to the development of a more modern, functional and welcoming area for both residents and visitors.
With Europe Park now benefiting from upgraded lighting and solar energy at the heart of the project, Oroklini continues to evolve through initiatives that improve everyday life and enhance its public spaces, further strengthening the area’s appeal as a vibrant and well-developed destination.
