Εκ μέρους της Οργανωτικής Επιτροπής του Φεστιβάλ Γειτονιάς Προδρόμου:
Επειδή εσείς μας το ζητήσατε, το Φεστιβάλ Γειτονιάς Προδρόμου αλλάζει ημερομηνία και, από την Κυριακή 30 Αυγούστου, μετατίθεται για το Σάββατο 5 Σεπτεμβρίου.
Οι λόγοι είναι ότι….. έχουμε γάμο στη γειτονιά και θα απουσιάζουν πολλοί κάτοικοι, ενώ αρκετοί από εσάς μάς είπατε πως είναι καλύτερα να πραγματοποιηθεί Σάββατο.
Το φετινό Φεστιβάλ Γειτονιάς Προδρόμου 2026 θα περιλαμβάνει:
- Ανοικτή συζήτηση με πάνελ για θέματα της γειτονιάς, με τη συμμετοχή επισήμων, όπως και πέρσι.
- Τομπόλα, όπως και πέρσι.
- Μουσική (ετοιμαστείτε να χορέψετε!)
- Περίπτερα με φαγητά, ποτά και χειροτεχνίες, όπως και πέρσι, αλλά με περισσότερα περίπτερα φέτος.
- Διαγωνισμό φωτογραφίας με θέμα τη γειτονιά του Προδρόμου και έκθεση φωτογραφίας, όπως και πέρσι.
- Θεατράκι.
- Τροχό της τύχης για παιδιά με δώρα.
- Τσιαττιστά.
- Σουβλάκια, τα οποία θα ψήνουν κάτοικοι της περιοχής και θα διατίθενται προς πώληση.
- Πέρσι οι γυναίκες της περιοχής μαγείρεψαν και προσφέρθηκε δωρεάν φαγητό. Φέτος θα ετοιμάσουν γλυκά και κέικ, τα οποία θα προσφέρονται δωρεάν, με το σύνθημα: «Οι γυναίκες του Προδρόμου σας γλυκαίνουν».
Είναι με ιδιαίτερη χαρά που βλέπουμε τόσο κόσμο να θέλει να συμμετάσχει στο φετινό, δεύτερο Φεστιβάλ Γειτονιάς Προδρόμου, είτε με περίπτερα είτε ως εθελοντές. Αυτό μας γεμίζει με ακόμη περισσότερη δύναμη και ενθουσιασμό να εργαστούμε για αυτό το φεστιβάλ, το οποίο διοργανώνεται με απίστευτη αγάπη και θετική ενέργεια.
Την Οργανωτική Επιτροπή αποτελούν περίπου 10 άτομα, ενώ υπάρχει ακόμη ένα μεγαλύτερο γκρουπ στο Viber με περίπου 50 μέλη. Όσοι επιθυμούν να συμμετάσχουν, μπορούν να επικοινωνήσουν μαζί μας ώστε να προστεθούν στο γκρουπ.
Για τη γειτονιά. Για τις ανθρώπινες σχέσεις. Για την αλληλεγγύη. Για τη διασκέδαση. Γιατί η ζωή είναι μία. Και… γιατί έτσι!
Σας περιμένουμε όλους στο Φεστιβάλ Γειτονιάς Προδρόμου το Σάββατο 5 Σεπτεμβρίου, από τις 6:00 το απόγευμα μέχρι αργά το βράδυ.
Πού; Στη γειτονιά του Προδρόμου, φυσικά!
Ραντεβού στην κεντρική σκηνή, μπροστά από το γιασεμί της Τούλας!

The Prodromos Neighborhood Festival is changing its date and will take place on Saturday, 5 September
On behalf of the Organising Committee of the Prodromos Neighborhood Festival:
Because you asked us to, the Prodromos Neighborhood Festival is changing its date and will be moved from Sunday, 30 August to Saturday, 5 September.
The reasons are that we have a wedding taking place in the neighborhood and many residents would be away, while several of you told us that Saturday would be a better day for the festival.
The 2026 Prodromos Neighborhood Festival will include:
- An open panel discussion on neighborhood issues, with the participation of officials, as we had last year.
- Tombola, as we had last year.
- Music (get ready to dance!)
- Stalls with food, drinks, and handmade crafts, as last year, but with even more stalls this year.
- A photography competition with the theme “The Prodromos Neighborhood” and a photography exhibition, as we had last year.
- A small theatre performance.
- A Wheel of Fortune for children with prizes.
- Traditional Cypriot tsiattista (improvised rhyming verses).
- Souvla and souvlakia, prepared by local residents and available for purchase.
Last year, the women of the neighborhood cooked and offered free food. This year, they will prepare sweets and cakes, which will be offered free of charge, under the slogan: “The women of Prodromos are here to sweeten your day.”
It is with great joy that we see so many people wanting to participate in this year’s second Prodromos Neighborhood Festival, either with stalls or as volunteers. This fills us with even more strength and enthusiasm to work for this festival, which is organised with incredible love and positive energy.
The Organising Committee consists of approximately 10 people, while there is also a larger Viber group with around 50 members. Anyone who wishes to participate can contact us so that they can be added to the group.
For the neighborhood. For human connections. For solidarity. For fun. Because we only have one life. And… simply because we can!
We are waiting for you all at the Prodromos Neighborhood Festival on Saturday, 5 September, from 6:00 pm until late at night.
Where? In the Prodromos neighborhood, of course!
