Στις 28 Φεβρουαρίου, στις 19:00, το Start Café στη Λάρνακα μετατρέπεται σε έναν ζωντανό εικαστικό πυρήνα φιλοξενώντας την ομαδική έκθεση Female Remains -μια καλλιτεχνική συνάντηση που επιχειρεί να επαναπροσδιορίσει το γυναικείο σώμα ως τόπο μνήμης, ίχνους και βιωμένης εμπειρίας.
Πέντε καλλιτέχνες συνομιλούν μέσα από ζωγραφικά και μικτά έργα, προσεγγίζοντας το σώμα όχι ως εξιδανικευμένη ή διακοσμητική μορφή, αλλά ως ένα πεδίο όπου εγγράφονται συναισθήματα, τραύματα, δύναμη, ευθραυστότητα και ανθεκτικότητα. Το σώμα εδώ δεν «εκτίθεται» — αφηγείται. Δεν σιωπά — θυμάται.
Οι διαφορετικές εικαστικές γλώσσες και τεχνικές δημιουργούν μια πολυφωνική αφήγηση που κινείται ανάμεσα στην οικειότητα και την ένταση, στη σιωπή και την εξομολόγηση. Άλλοτε οι μορφές μοιάζουν εύθραυστες, σχεδόν διάφανες· άλλοτε δυναμικές, διεκδικητικές, παρούσες. Κάθε έργο λειτουργεί ως ένα προσωπικό αποτύπωμα, μια κατάθεση που αγγίζει το συλλογικό.

Η έκθεση εγκαινιάζεται στις 28 Φεβρουαρίου στις 19:00 και θα διαρκέσει έως το τέλος Μαρτίου, προσκαλώντας το κοινό της Λάρνακας να βιώσει μια εμπειρία όπου η τέχνη συναντά την προσωπική και συλλογική μνήμη.
Η Female Remains δεν αποτελεί απλώς μια εικαστική πρόταση· είναι μια υπενθύμιση ότι το σώμα κουβαλά ιστορίες — και η τέχνη έχει τη δύναμη να τις φέρνει στο φως.
Female Remains at Start Café in Larnaca
On February 28 at 19:00, Start Café in Larnaca transforms into a vibrant visual arts hub, hosting the group exhibition Female Remains — an artistic encounter that seeks to redefine the female body as a site of memory, trace, and lived experience.
Five artists engage in dialogue through paintings and mixed-media works, approaching the body not as an idealized or decorative form, but as a field upon which emotions, trauma, strength, fragility, and resilience are inscribed. The body here is not “displayed” — it narrates. It does not remain silent — it remembers.
The different visual languages and techniques create a polyphonic narrative that moves between intimacy and intensity, between silence and confession. At times the figures appear fragile, almost translucent; at others, dynamic, assertive, and present. Each work functions as a personal imprint, a testimony that resonates with the collective.
