Μια ξεχωριστή θεατρική, μουσική και χορευτική παράσταση με έντονο συμβολισμό και βαθιά πολιτιστική ταυτότητα παρουσιάζεται τη Δευτέρα, 29 Ιουνίου 2026, στο Παττίχειο Αμφιθέατρο Λάρνακας.
Η παραγωγή με τίτλο «Δυο Νησιά που έγιναν ΕΝΑ» αποτελεί δημιουργία της Σχολής Χορού Αντάμα και επιχειρεί να αναδείξει τους ισχυρούς δεσμούς που ενώνουν την Κύπρο και την Κρήτη μέσα από την παράδοση, τη μουσική, τον χορό αλλά και μια συγκινητική ιστορία αγάπης που διατρέχει όλη την παράσταση.
Στο επίκεντρο της καλλιτεχνικής αυτής πρότασης βρίσκονται η πολιτισμική συγγένεια και οι κοινές ρίζες των δύο νησιών, που αποδίδονται σκηνικά μέσα από συνδυασμό θεάτρου, ζωντανής μουσικής και χορευτικής έκφρασης.
Στην παράσταση συμμετέχουν η χορευτική ομάδα της Σχολής Χορού Αντάμα, καταξιωμένοι μουσικοί από την Κύπρο και την Κρήτη, καθώς και το Θεατρικό Εργαστήρι Χρυστάλλα Καλλένου, το οποίο συμβάλλει καθοριστικά στη δραματουργική ανάπτυξη του έργου.
Τη σκηνοθεσία υπογράφει η σκηνοθέτις και ηθοποιός Χρυστάλλα Καλλένου, η οποία συμμετέχει επίσης επί σκηνής, δίνοντας στην παράσταση έναν ιδιαίτερα προσωπικό και ερμηνευτικό χαρακτήρα.
Το Παττίχειο Αμφιθέατρο Λάρνακας αναμένεται να φιλοξενήσει μια βραδιά αφιερωμένη στη συνάντηση πολιτισμών, όπου η τέχνη λειτουργεί ως κοινή γλώσσα και οι παραδόσεις των δύο νησιών συναντιούνται σε μια ενιαία αφήγηση.
“Two Islands That Became ONE”: A cultural bridge between Cyprus and Crete at the Patticheio Amphitheatre of Larnaca by the Antama Dance School, directed by Chrystalla Kallenou
A unique theatrical, musical, and dance performance with strong symbolism and a deep cultural identity will be presented on Monday, 29 June 2026, at the Patticheio Amphitheatre of Larnaca.
The production titled “Two Islands That Became ONE” is a creation of the Antama Dance School and seeks to highlight the strong bonds that unite Cyprus and Crete through tradition, music, dance, as well as a touching love story that runs throughout the entire performance.
At the heart of this artistic proposal lie the cultural affinity and shared roots of the two islands, expressed on stage through a combination of theatre, live music, and dance performance.
Participating in the production are the dance group of the Antama Dance School, distinguished musicians from Cyprus and Crete, as well as the Chrystalla Kallenou Theatre Workshop, which plays a decisive role in the dramaturgical development of the work.
The performance is directed by theatre director and actress Chrystalla Kallenou, who also appears on stage, adding a deeply personal and performative character to the production.
The Patticheio Amphitheatre of Larnaca is expected to host an evening dedicated to the encounter of cultures, where art functions as a common language and the traditions of the two islands meet in a unified narrative.
