Πραγματοποιήθηκε σήμερα στη Λάρνακα, στον υπέροχο χώρο του Καφέ της Χρυσάνθης, στον δεύτερο όροφο, ανοικτή συζήτηση με θέμα “Η Γυναίκα ως Δημιουργός Ζωής” που διοργανώθηκε από το IWCC Larnaca και έγινε με τη στήριξη του Λάρνακα 2030.
Στο πανελ βρέθηκαν οι Άννα Κριθ συγγραφέας και δημοσιογράφος, η Ghia Κακουλλή Partner στην εταιρεία Cylex Legal Services, η Μελάνθη Νικολάου από το χώρο του Real Estate, η Κέλυ Διαπούλη Καλλιτεχνική Διευθύντρια του Λάρνακα 2030, η Γιώτα Δημητρίου δημοσιογράφος και αρχισυντάκτρια του SkalaTimes και η Klaudia Al Essa, Μέλος του “Mamanet”, catch and serve team captain.
Τη συζήτηση συντόνιζε η Πρόεδρος του IWCC Larnaca, Carmagne Garcia Laconico, η οποία είναι και Επίτιμη Πρόξενος της Δημοκρατίας των Φιλιππίνων, στην Λάρνακα.
Η συζήτηση κινήθηκε στις προκλήσεις που έχουν να αντιμετωπίσουν οι γυναίκες σήμερα, αλλά πρωτίστως στο ρόλο της γυναίκας για ένα καλύτερο κόσμο, στο ρόλο της γυναίκας ως δημιουργός και “αρχιτέκτονας ζωής”.
Κατά τη συζήτηση έγιναν αναφορές στους άνισους αριθμούς των δύο φύλων, όσον αφορά στα σημαντικά πόστα και αξιώματα.
Η υπέροχη δίωρη συζήτηση ολοκληρώθηκε με την εισήγηση της κ. Κέλυς Διαπούλη όπως ξαναγίνει και καθιερωθεί, αφού φάνηκε μέσα από τη συζήτηση και τις προσωπικές εμπειρίες των γυναικών που απάρτιζαν το πάνελ, πως η ανοικτή συζήτηση οδήγησε σε συμπεράσματα, τροφή για σκέψη, αλλά και έμπνευση και ενθάρρυνση.

IWCC LARNACA ΑΠΟΣΤΟΛΗ
Το IWCC Larnaca φέρνει κοντά γυναίκες από διαφορετικές κουλτούρες. Στόχος του είναι να ενδυναμώσει, να ανυψώσει, να συνδέσει τις γυναίκες και μέσα από διάφορες εκδηλώσεις και δράσεις να προσφέρει στη τοπική κοινωνία.
The open discussion titled “Women as Creators of Life” took place today in Larnaca, at the beautiful venue of Chrysanthi’s Café, on the second floor. The event was organized by IWCC Larnaca with the support of Larnaκa 2030.
The panel featured Anna Krith, writer and journalist; Ghia Kakoulli, Partner at Cylex Legal Services; Melanthi Nicolaou, from the Real Estate sector; Kelly Diapouli, Artistic Director of Larnaca 2030; Yiota Dimitriou, journalist and Editor-in-Chief of SkalaTimes; and Klaudia Al Essa, member of the “Mamanet”, Catch and Serve team and team captain.
The discussion was moderated by Carmagne Garcia Laconico, President of IWCC Larnaca and Honorary Consul of the Republic of the Philippines to Republic of Cyprus.
The conversation revolved around the challenges women face today but, more importantly, focused on the role of women in shaping a better world—as creators and architects of life.
During the discussion, references were made to the unequal representation of women in key positions and leadership roles.
This inspiring two-hour discussion concluded with a proposal by Mrs. Kelly Diapouli to establish this event as a recurring discussion. The personal experiences shared by the panelists highlighted how such open conversations lead to insights, food for thought, inspiration, and encouragement.
