Οι μαθητές συμμετείχαν στον διαγωνισμό υπό την καθοδήγηση της καθηγήτριας Πληροφορικής, Χρυσταλλένης Παπαϊωάννου, παρουσιάζοντας μια πρωτότυπη και ιδιαίτερα δημιουργική εργασία. Η συμμετοχή τους προκρίθηκε στη Β’ Φάση του διαγωνισμού, η οποία πραγματοποιήθηκε στις 4 Φεβρουαρίου 2026 στο Ολυμπιακό Μέγαρο στη Λευκωσία.
Κατά τη διάρκεια της τελικής φάσης, οι μαθητές παρουσίασαν τη διαδικασία υλοποίησης της εργασίας τους και απάντησαν σε ερωτήσεις της Επιτροπής Αξιολόγησης, εντυπωσιάζοντας με την ποιότητα, την καινοτομία και το μήνυμα της δημιουργίας τους.
Η διάκριση αυτή αποτελεί σημαντική επιτυχία τόσο για τους ίδιους τους μαθητές όσο και για το Λύκειο Αραδίππου «Τάσος Μητσόπουλος», αναδεικνύοντας τη σημασία της υπεύθυνης και δημιουργικής αξιοποίησης του διαδικτύου.
Το 1ο βραβείο στον 15ο Διαγωνισμό του Παιδαγωγικού Ινστιτούτου Κύπρου για την Παραγωγή Βίντεο με θέμα την Ασφαλή και Δημιουργική Χρήση του Διαδικτύου κατέκτησαν οι μαθητές του τμήματος Α11 του Λυκείου Αραδίππου «Τάσος Μητσόπουλος», Σωτήριος Κορομηλάς και Αντώνιος Κωνσταντίνου.

First Prize for Aradippou Lyceum “Tasos Mitsopoulos” – Students Distinguished in Nationwide Competition for Safe Internet Use
The students participated in the competition under the guidance of their Information Technology teacher, Chrysalleni Papaioannou, presenting an original and highly creative project. Their entry advanced to the second phase of the competition, which took place on February 4, 2026, at the Olympic Hall in Nicosia.
During the final phase, the students presented the development process of their project and answered questions from the Evaluation Committee, impressing with the quality, innovation, and message of their work.
This distinction marks a significant achievement both for the students themselves and for Aradippou Lyceum “Tasos Mitsopoulos”, highlighting the importance of responsible and creative use of the internet.
The first prize in the 15th Competition of the Cyprus Pedagogical Institute for Video Production on the theme of Safe and Creative Use of the Internet was awarded to the students of class A11 of Aradippou Lyceum “Tasos Mitsopoulos”, Sotirios Koromilas and Antonios Constantinou.
