Ο Δήμος Λάρνακας ανακοινώνει το προσωρινό κλείσιμο τμήματος του παραλιακού πεζόδρομου, στο Δημοτικό Διαμέρισμα Βορόκληνης, μεταξύ του εστιατορίου Mer Bleue και Radisson Beach Resort, λόγω σοβαρών προβλημάτων στατικότητας που παρουσιάζει τον τελευταίο καιρό.
Από την Τετάρτη 4 Φεβρουαρίου 2026, το κοινό καλείται να χρησιμοποιεί την εναλλακτική πορεία όπως φαίνεται στην εικόνα, η οποία στο παρόν στάδιο δεν μπορεί να είναι προσβάσιμη σε τροχοκαθίσματα και σύντομα θα δοθούν κατάλληλες λύσεις.
Ο Δήμος βρίσκεται σε συνεχή επαφή με αρμόδια Κυβερνητικά Τμήματα για την επίλυση των έντονων φαινομένων διάβρωσης και υποχώρησης της ακτής που παρουσιάζονται στην περιοχή και δημιουργούν ιδιαίτερα προβλήματα στις υφιστάμενες υποδομές.
Καλείται το κοινό και οι επισκέπτες της περιοχής να είναι προσεκτικοί, ειδικά στα σημεία όπου παρουσιάζονται προβλήματα, και να συμμορφώνονται με τις σημάνσεις που θα τοποθετηθούν.

Temporary Closure of Section of the Coastal Promenade in the Voroklini Municipal Area
The Larnaca Municipality announces the temporary closure of a section of the coastal promenade in the Voroklini Municipal Area, between the Mer Bleue restaurant and Radisson Beach Resort, due to serious structural stability issues that have developed recently.
From Wednesday, February 4, 2026, the public is asked to use the alternative route shown in the image. At this stage, the route is not accessible for wheelchairs, and appropriate solutions will be provided shortly.
The Municipality is in continuous contact with the relevant Government Departments to address the severe erosion and shoreline retreat occurring in the area, which are causing significant problems for existing infrastructure.
The public and visitors to the area are urged to exercise caution, especially at points where issues are present, and to follow the signage that will be installed.
