Ο Μιχάλης Καλοπαίδης, σε συνέχεια της συζήτησης που πραγματοποιήθηκε στα Larnaka Talk την περασμένη Τρίτη 20 του μήνα, όπου τέθηκε από παρευρισκόμενους πολίτες αλλά και από τον ίδιο τον κ. Πάνο Αλεξάνδρου της Prosperity Group το ζήτημα του λιμανιού και της μαρίνας Λάρνακας, προχώρησε χθες, Πέμπτη 22 του μήνα, σε συνάντηση με τον κ. Αλεξάνδρου.
Ο κ. Καλοπαίδης, ο οποίος είναι υποψήφιος βουλευτής Λάρνακας με το Volt, πραγματοποίησε τη συνάντηση παρουσία του Επαρχιακού Γραμματέα του VOLT Λάρνακας, κ. Στέλιου Στυλιανού.

ΑΝΑΠΤΥΞΗ ΛΙΜΑΝΙΟΥ ΛΑΡΝΑΚΑΣ – Σε συνέχεια της συζήτησης για την ανάπτυξη της Λάρνακας, που πραγματοποιήθηκε στο πλαίσιο των Larnaka Talks, σήμερα πραγματοποιήσαμε και κατ’ ιδίαν συνάντηση με τον Πάνο Αλεξάνδρου, Διευθυντή της Prosperity Group (μέτοχο της Kition Ocean Holdings), προκειμένου να ενημερωθούμε περαιτέρω για την τρέχουσα κατάσταση που εμποδίζει την υλοποίηση αυτού του σημαντικού αναπτυξιακού έργου, τόσο για τη Λάρνακα όσο και για την Κύπρο.
Στη συνάντηση παρευρέθηκε και ο Επαρχιακός Γραμματέας του VOLT Λάρνακας, Στέλιος Στυλιανού.
Σε αυτό το στάδιο, θα θέλαμε να καλέσουμε την Κεντρική Κυβέρνηση, να δώσει στην Λάρνακα ένα ξεκάθαρο χρονοδιάγραμμα.
Είναι προς το δημόσιο συμφέρον. Είναι ζωτικής σημασίας για τη Λάρνακα.
Η Λάρνακα δεν μπορεί να συνεχίσει να παραγκωνίζεται από το κεντρικό κράτος. Ο κόσμος της Λάρνακας δεν μπορεί να περιμένει άλλο.

Following the discussion held at the Larnaka Talks last Tuesday, the 20th of the month, during which the issue of the Larnaca port and marina was raised by members of the public as well as by Mr. Panos Alexandrou of the Prosperity Group, who was also present at the discussion, Michalis Kalopaides held a meeting yesterday, Thursday the 22nd of the month, with Mr. Alexandrou.
Mr. Kalopaides, who is a candidate MP for Larnaca with Volt, held the meeting in the presence of the District Secretary of VOLT Larnaca, Mr. Stelios Stylianou.

LARNACA PORT DEVELOPMENT – Following the discussion on the development of Larnaca, which took place within the framework of the Larnaka Talks, today we also held a one-on-one meeting with Panos Alexandrou, Director of the Prosperity Group (shareholder of Kition Ocean Holdings), in order to be further informed about the current situation that is hindering the implementation of this important development project, both for Larnaca and for Cyprus.

At this stage, we would like to call on the Central Government to provide Larnaca with a clear timeline.
This is in the public interest. It is of vital importance for Larnaca.
