Δήλωση Γιώργου Κάρουλλα για νομοσχέδιο καλλιτεχνών
Η συνεχιζόμενη καθυστέρηση του Υφυπουργείου Πολιτισμού να αποστείλει στη Βουλή το αναθεωρημένο νομοσχέδιο για τους καλλιτέχνες είναι αδικαιολόγητη και επιζήμια.
Οι καλλιτέχνες της Κύπρου περιμένουν θεσμική κατοχύρωση, στήριξη και όχι άλλες αναβολές.
Το Υφυπουργείο οφείλει άμεσα να διεξάγει αποτελεσματική διαβούλευση και να καταθέσει το τελικό κείμενο, ώστε η Βουλή να προχωρήσει αμέσως στη συζήτηση και ψήφιση του νόμου.
Ο πολιτισμός δεν μπορεί να μένει άλλο στο περιθώριο. Το τονίζουμε ξανά, απαιτούνται πράξεις, όχι εξαγγελίες.

Statement by Giorgos Karoullas on the Artists’ Bill
The ongoing delay by the Deputy Ministry of Culture in submitting the revised Artists’ Bill to Parliament is unjustified and harmful.
Cyprus’ artists are waiting for institutional recognition, support, and not further postponements.
The Deputy Ministry must immediately conduct an effective consultation and submit the final draft so that Parliament can promptly proceed with the discussion and adoption of the law.
Culture can no longer remain on the sidelines. We emphasize once again: what is needed are actions, not announcements.
