Κλειστή μάχη κορυφής, βαθιά αβεβαιότητα και μια κοινωνία που ζητά αλλαγή, χωρίς να εμπιστεύεται κανέναν πλήρως.
Τρεις μήνες πριν τις βουλευτικές εκλογές του Μαΐου, η πολιτική σκηνή της Κύπρου μοιάζει περισσότερο με κινούμενη άμμο παρά με σταθερό έδαφος. Σήμερα παρουσιάζουμε την πρώτη από τις 4 δημοσκοπήσεις της Noverna Analytics που θα πραγματοποιηθούν για λογαριασμό του «Πολίτη» μέχρι τον Μάιο, η οποία δεν αποτυπώνει απλώς συσχετισμούς δυνάμεων, αλλά καταγράφει μια κοινωνία κουρασμένη, καχύποπτη και διχασμένη. Μια κοινωνία που αναζητά αλλαγή αλλά δεν πείθεται πλήρως ότι τα υφιστάμενα κόμματα και το πολιτικό τους προσωπικό μπορούν να τη φέρουν εις πέρας. Στο επίκεντρο της προεκλογικής σύγκρουσης δεν βρίσκεται το Κυπριακό, όπως συνέβαινε ιστορικά, αλλά η διαφθορά, η οικονομία, η διαφάνεια και η λειτουργικότητα της Βουλής. Σε όλα αυτά, οι πολίτες εμφανίζονται βαθιά δύσπιστοι. Ένας στους τέσσερις… Ένα από τα μηνύματα της έρευνας είναι η αβεβαιότητα. Στη θεωρία το 71% των ερωτηθέντων δηλώνει ότι θα ψηφίσει «σίγουρα». Το υπόλοιπο 29% είτε διστάζει, είτε αμφιταλαντεύεται. Στην πρόθεση ψήφου, το 21,1% δηλώνει «Δεν θα ψηφίσω/Αναποφάσιστος», ενώ επιπλέον 2,9% αρνήθηκε να απαντήσει.

Three months before the parliamentary elections in May, Cyprus’ political landscape resembles shifting sand rather than solid ground. Today we present the first of four polls to be conducted by Noverna Analytics on behalf of Politis through May. The findings do more than simply capture party balances; they portray a society that is tired, suspicious, and divided. A society seeking change, yet unconvinced that the existing parties and their political personnel can successfully deliver it.
At the heart of the pre-election contest is not the Cyprus issue—as has historically been the case—but corruption, the economy, transparency, and the effective functioning of Parliament. On all these fronts, citizens appear deeply distrustful.

One of the key messages of the survey is uncertainty. In theory, 71% of respondents say they will “definitely” vote. The remaining 29% either hesitate or are undecided. Regarding voting intention, 21.1% state “I will not vote/Undecided,” while an additional 2.9% refused to answer.
