The Carnival is the reason that this week Adriana Costa sent us her notes and a few photos all the way from Brazil, state of Bahia, to Larnaka! Especially and only for Skala Times!
Ahhh the Brazilian carnival!!
Last week, on the 16 of February, officially started the biggest street party of the world, the Carnival of Salvador, a city located in the northeast of Brazil, in the state of Bahia.
People all over the world come to watch, dance and sing with the local bands and singers of “Axé Music” and different kinds of music genre. Every year national and international celebrities visit the city for this event. The same happens in Rio de Janeiro, where the Carnival only started on Monday and it will have the presence of Jennifer Lopez and maybe the sexiest Hollywood couple Brad Pitt e Angelina Jolie.
