Ανακοίνωση με την οποία ρίχνει φως στο ζήτημα του εμπάργκο μεταγραφών και την πορεία διευθέτησης των σχετικών υποθέσεων εξέδωσε η Ανόρθωση. Το Διοικητικό Συμβούλιο της ομάδας ενημερώνει για τις ενέργειες που έχουν γίνει από την ανάληψη των καθηκόντων του μέχρι σήμερα, παρουσιάζοντας τις υποθέσεις που έχουν τακτοποιηθεί αλλά και την εξέλιξη που προέκυψε με την εγγραφή νέας υπόθεσης στη FIFA, την πρώτη μέρα του φετινού μετεγγραφικού παραθύρου. Γεγονός που φρέναρε τις προσπάθειες για εγγραφή των 15 νέων αποκτημάτων.
Αναλυτικά η ανακοίνωση της Ανόρθωσης
«Το Διοικητικό Συμβούλιο της Ανόρθωσις Αμμοχώστου, δια της παρούσης ανακοίνωσης επιθυμεί να ξεκαθαρίσει το ζήτημα με το εμπάργκο μεταγραφών και την εγγραφή των νέων ποδοσφαιριστών με τους οποίους έχουμε συνάψει συμφωνίες για τη νέα αγωνιστική περίοδο. Ως Διοικητικό Συμβούλιο, με την ανάληψη των καθηκόντων μας, τον Οκτώβριο του 2024, είχαμε να αντιμετωπίσουμε ένα βουνό προβλημάτων μεταξύ αυτών και οι προσφυγές προς την FIFA οι οποίες και επηρέαζαν τον μεταγραφικό μας προγραμματισμό.
Το τελευταίο λοιπόν διάστημα, μέσα από διάφορες ενέργειες του Δ.Σ., αλλά κυρίως με τη βοήθεια του κόσμου μέσα από τα εισιτήρια διαρκείας, τα VIP Boxes και διάφορες εισφορές, ξεπεράσαμε τα κριτήρια της UEFA και αρχίσαμε να διακανονίζουμε τις υποθέσεις που είχε επιβληθεί εμπάργκο, είτε με άμεση εξόφληση, είτε με κάποιους διακανονισμούς.
Οι υποθέσεις αυτές αφορούσαν τους πιο κάτω:

Η τελευταία υπόθεση που εξοφλήθηκε, αφορούσε τον ποδοσφαιριστή Ivan Arboleda ο οποίος εξοφλήθηκε την Παρασκευή 20 Ιουνίου 2025. Δυστυχώς τις τελευταίες ημέρες έχει προκληθεί μια αναστάτωση εντός του κόσμου της Ανόρθωσις, αφού στις 21 Ιουνίου 2025, ημέρα που άνοιγε το μεταγραφικό παράθυρο, προστέθηκε ακόμα μια υπόθεση στην ιστοσελίδα της FIFA.
Την υπόθεση αυτή, τη χειρίζονται οι Νομικοί μας σύμβουλοι σε συνεννόηση με το Διοικητικό Συμβούλιο και έχουν προβεί σε όλα τα απαραίτητα διαβήματα προκειμένου να ξεπεραστεί και αυτό το εμπόδιο, ούτως ώστε να μπορέσουμε να εγγράψουμε τους ποδοσφαιριστές μας. Για οποιαδήποτε άλλη εξέλιξη θα ενημερώσουμε άμεσα και επίσημα, ενώ ευχαριστούμε όλα τα Μ.Μ.Ε. για την αντιμετώπιση τους τις τελευταίες ημέρες και το σεβασμό τους προς αποφυγή διασποράς πανικού στον κόσμο της ομάδας μας. Συνεχίζουμε με τη βοήθεια σας για να ξεπεράσουμε όλα τα εμπόδια τα οποία ταλανίζουν το οικοδόμημα μας.

Anorthosis on Transfer Ban: “The 12 Settled Cases and the New Obstacle”
Anorthosis has issued a statement shedding light on the matter of the transfer ban and the progress made in resolving the related cases. The club’s Board of Directors provides an update on the actions taken since assuming office, outlining the cases that have been settled as well as a new development involving the registration of a fresh case with FIFA—on the very first day of the summer transfer window. This unexpected development has hindered efforts to register the club’s 15 new signings.

“The Board of Directors of Anorthosis Famagusta, through this announcement, wishes to clarify the issue of the transfer ban and the registration of new players with whom we have reached agreements for the upcoming football season. Since assuming our duties in October 2024, we have been faced with a mountain of challenges, including FIFA complaints that have directly impacted our transfer planning.
Recently, thanks to various actions by the Board, and primarily through the support of our fans—via season ticket sales, VIP boxes, and various donations—we managed to meet UEFA’s criteria and began settling the cases that had led to the transfer embargo, either through full payments or structured agreements.
The cases involved the following individuals and entities:
- Olympos Agiou Spyridonos for training compensation regarding Rafail Koukodimos (U19) (Season 2021–2022)

The most recent case to be settled concerned footballer Ivan Arboleda, whose dues were paid off on Friday, June 20, 2025. Unfortunately, unrest has arisen among our supporters, as on June 21, 2025—the opening day of the transfer window—a new case was added to FIFA’s website.
This new case is being handled by our legal advisors in coordination with the Board of Directors. All necessary actions have been taken to overcome this obstacle so that we may proceed with the registration of our new players. We will issue an immediate and official update should there be any further developments. We also thank the media for their responsible coverage over the past few days and their respect in avoiding the spread of panic among our supporters. With your support, we will continue working to overcome every challenge affecting our club.”
