Με αφορμή το Φεστιβάλ Γειτονιάς Προδρόμου, διοργανώνεται φωτογραφικός διαγωνισμός με θέμα: «Οι ομορφιές του Προδρόμου»
Στόχος του διαγωνισμού είναι οι νέοι να αναδείξουν μέσα από τον φωτογραφικό τους φακό τις ξεχωριστές γωνιές και τις ομορφιές της ενορίας Προδρόμου.
Δικαίωμα συμμετοχής:
Δικαίωμα συμμετοχής έχουν νέοι και νέες μέχρι 16 ετών, οι οποίοι είτε είναι κάτοικοι της Ενορίας Προδρόμου είτε έχουν οικογενειακό δεσμό με την περιοχή (π.χ. οι γονείς, οι γιαγιάδες ή οι παππούδες τους κατοικούν ή κατάγονται από την Ενορία Προδρόμου).
Θέμα διαγωνισμού:
Οι συμμετέχοντες καλούνται να φωτογραφίσουν όμορφες και χαρακτηριστικές εικόνες του Προδρόμου, όπως για παράδειγμα:
Πάρκα και χώρους πρασίνου
Το αρχαιολογικό χώρο του Αρχαίου Κιτίου
Εκκλησίες και θρησκευτικά μνημεία
Γειτονιές, κτήρια ή οποιαδήποτε άλλη εικόνα αναδεικνύει την ομορφιά και τον χαρακτήρα της περιοχής
Όροι συμμετοχής:
Κάθε διαγωνιζόμενος μπορεί να συμμετέχει με 1 έως 3 φωτογραφίες.
Οι φωτογραφίες μπορούν να έχουν ληφθεί είτε με κινητό τηλέφωνο είτε με φωτογραφική μηχανή.
Οι φωτογραφίες πρέπει να παραδοθούν τυπωμένες σε μέγεθος Α5.
Στο πίσω μέρος κάθε φωτογραφίας πρέπει να αναγράφονται τα στοιχεία του συμμετέχοντα (ονοματεπώνυμο και στοιχεία επικοινωνίας).
Ημερομηνία λήξης συμμετοχών:
Οι συμμετοχές θα γίνονται δεκτές μέχρι τις 20 Αυγούστου 2026.

Οι φωτογραφίες θα αξιολογηθούν από πενταμελή κριτική επιτροπή.
Έκθεση φωτογραφίας:
Όλες οι συμμετοχές θα παρουσιαστούν σε ειδική έκθεση φωτογραφίας την ημέρα διεξαγωγής του Φεστιβάλ Γειτονιάς Προδρόμου, με το όνομα κάθε νεαρού φωτογράφου να συνοδεύει το έργο του.

Photography Competition Announcement as Part of the Prodromos Neighbourhood Festival
As part of the Prodromos Neighbourhood Festival, a photography competition is being organised under the theme:
“The Beauties of Prodromos”
The aim of the competition is to encourage young people to capture, through their photographic lens, the unique corners and beauty of the Parish of Prodromos.
Eligibility
The competition is open to boys and girls up to 16 years of age who are either residents of the Parish of Prodromos or have family ties to the area (for example, if their parents, grandparents, or other close family members live in or originate from the Parish of Prodromos).
Competition Theme
Participants are invited to photograph beautiful and distinctive images of Prodromos, such as:
- Parks and green spaces
- The Archaeological Site of Ancient Kition
- Churches and religious monuments
- Neighbourhoods, buildings, or any other image that highlights the beauty and character of the area
Terms of Participation
- Each participant may submit between one (1) and three (3) photographs.
- Photographs may be taken using either a mobile phone or a camera.
- All photographs must be submitted as printed copies in A5 size.
- The participant’s details (full name and contact information) must be written on the back of each photograph.
Submission Deadline
Entries will be accepted until 20 August 2026.
Prizes
The following prizes will be awarded:
- 1st Prize
- 2nd Prize
- 3rd Prize
All photographs will be evaluated by a five-member judging panel.
Photography Exhibition
All submitted photographs will be presented in a special photography exhibition on the day of the Prodromos Neighbourhood Festival. Each photograph will be displayed alongside the name of its young photographer.
